We are growing! Southeast Management Group is hiring a property manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn the ins and outs of the management business.

The right candidate is:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
  • Experience:

    2+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of App Folio is a plus but not required.
  • South Carolina Property Manager License (Required but can obtain once hired)
  • Sales and/or leasing experience
  • Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written skills
  • General office skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties efficiently

Duties and responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of properties.
  • Manage leasing performance and occupancy goals
  • Marketing, showing, following up with leads in order to meet the occupancy goals
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects.
  • Schedule building activity including move-ins/move-outs
  • Perform regular inspections of the property. Recommend and direct alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of the property as required.
  • Prepare detailed budgets once trained on this and financial reports for properties.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and operating of the property.
  • Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations and resolves problems following management rules and regulations.
  • Confer regularly with management team and owner to ensure property goals are being met.
  • Conduct and maintain positive relationships with owner, team, and vendors as necessary in the successful management of the property.
  • Reliability and dependability is a MUST.
  • Organization and efficiency are a MUST.
