This position is identified as safety sensitive. Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing may be required, in line with applicable laws.

• Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also use Cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems.
• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and packages them properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks and verifies that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing, and packing orders; may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle counts and identifies, holds, and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions when required and performs general cleanup.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; reports issues to supervisor or designated personnel.
• Participates in, supports, and complies with health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• Works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Meets TKMNA employee attributes/competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, read and write French)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Previous forklift experience
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
• Safety mindset

Preferred Requirements:

• Use of handheld measuring tools
• Basic computer skills and knowledge (e.g., databases and Microsoft Office)

Job Details

This role requires 90% travel.
