Position Overview:

OpSource Staffing is seeking an experienced Saw Operator for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience operating industrial band saws and working in a fast-paced production environment with frequent job changeovers.

Major Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Operate band saws and other cutting equipment
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders
• Perform accurate cuts and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools
• Handle frequent job changeovers in a high-variety production setting
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper machine functionality
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedule goals

Job Requirements:

• Experience operating industrial saws (band saws, panel saws, or similar equipment)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensional specifications
• Strong measurement skills and knowledge of basic shop math
• Familiarity with PPE and safety procedures related to cutting operations
• Ability to work efficiently with frequent changeovers
• Strong work history demonstrating longevity with previous employers
