We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented SEO/eCommerce Specialist to join our team. As an SEO/eCommerce Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our online store's day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for researching and implementing SEO optimizations, generating marketing content, performing price studies, reviewing reports and recommending solutions, and collaborating with other teams to ensure an optimal customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SEO and Content Optimization
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve product visibility and drive organic trafficCreate engaging, SEO-optimized content for product listings, blog posts, and marketing materialsEnsure product descriptions, images, specifications, and page content align with SEO best practicesMarket Research and Competitive Analysis
Perform market research to understand customer preferences and eCommerce trendsAnalyze competitors' pricing and adjust pricing strategies to remain competitiveProvide insights based on research to optimize product offerings and drive salesPerformance Analysis and Reporting
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, sales and customer engagementAnalyze sales data, website performance and marketing campaigns to identify trends and areas for improvementProvide regular reports and actionable insights to enhance conversion rates, product performance and salesDigital Marketing and Promotional Campaigns
Assist in creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads and social media effortsSupport content creation for social media to increase brand awareness and customer loyaltyMonitor and optimize promotional offers, discounts and seasonal campaigns for effectivenessCustomer Experience and Feedback
Review customer feedback and ratings to identify opportunities for product or service improvementEnsure seamless communication between the eCommerce team and customer service to address customer inquiries and concernsAssist in developing strategies to enhance the customer journey, from browsing to post-purchase supportWebsite Maintenance and Optimization
Work with designers to update website visuals, banners and promotionsEnsure product pages are optimized for user experience and conversionSupport website functionality improvements based on performance data and customer feedbackCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, IT, design and customer service teams to align on eCommerce goalsParticipate in team meetings to discuss upcoming promotions, sales strategies and product launchesQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience1-3 years' experience in eCommerce, retail or a related fieldProficiency with eCommerce platforms such as Magento (preferred), Big Commerce, Shopify or Woo CommerceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photo Shop, Indesign or IllustratorGoogle Digital Marketing and E-commerce and Google Data Analytics certifications preferredFamiliarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms and social media)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExperience with inventory management and order processing is a plus.Seniority level
