CRNA​/Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Our client, a 600+ bed healthcare facility located about an hour from Spartanburg, SC, and 45 minutes from Greenville, has a need for a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) to join their team.

They are offering a $30,000 retention bonus for a 2 yr commitment.

• The CRNA is responsible to the Operating Physician, the supervising anesthesiologist, the chief nurse anesthetist and AnMed as employer.
• Administers such drugs as may be necessary for patients having regional anesthesia techniques, after the regional techniques have been established by the anesthesiologist.
• Assists in proper positioning of the patient before procedure to assure protection from injury.
• Administers general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care anesthetics.
• Continuously monitors patient’s vital signs including but not limited to blood pressure, pulse, respirations and cardiac rhythms.
• Administers anesthesia as determined by the anesthesiologist.

• South Carolina Advanced Practice Nurse licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nurse anesthetists.
• Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.

They will consider a SRNA (student). They will receive a monthly education stipend of $1,500 up to three years (36 months) that will not exceed a total of $54,000 while attending the CRNA program. Upon completion and graduation from a Doctor of Nursing program while passing the CRNA exam, the students will be offered full-time employment with the hospital and a retention bonus of $30,000.

The base rate of pay will be $107/hour for the new employee.
