Dosing Nurse – Addiction Medicine

Correctly identify patients and administer medication per medical provider orders
Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window
Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care
Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation, including assessing for impairment
Ensure medication count is accurate and completed daily
Follow compliance policies and procedures for documentation
Participate in nursing team meetings and cross-treatment meetings
Connect with patients by offering empathy and a listening ear to those struggling

• Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license
• License must be in good standing, unencumbered, and active
• 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus
• Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred

Demonstrates expertise in patient care coordination, medication administration, and accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with healthcare policies. Strong phlebotomy skills and the ability to connect with patients empathetically are essential.
