This Nurse Practitioner position involves providing specialized care in the Neurosurgical and Spine Institute for adults. This is a full-time contract position, offering the chance to work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include performing inpatient/acute care procedures such as diagnostic/therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, and primary surgical of complex wounds.
The position requires working either 10-hour shifts (7 AM - 5 PM) or 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM) with a call week that includes one weeknight and one weekend day.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $117.70 to $139.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and creating tailored care plans.
- Providing surgical care and therapeutic interventions in an inpatient/acute care setting.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in the EMR system.
- Staying informed on the latest practices and research in neurosurgery and spine care.
