Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – South Carolina

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts with on-call requirements; at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on need; minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room position averaging 3 cardiac cases per day
• Scrub cardiovascular surgery experience required with exposure to CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, and MAZE procedures
• Contract length of 13 weeks with potential for extension; start approximately 3 weeks after signed contract
• EPIC EMR experience required (minimum 1 year)
• Free parking provided
• Paid pre-assignment modules and orientation (up to 16 hours reimbursable)

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA required), ACLS, and CNOR
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiovascular operating room experience
• Previous travel experience required
• First Assist experience preferred
• Competencies in cardiac procedures including aortic aneurysm repair, IABP, cell saver, femoral cannulation, and TAVR
• Experience with laser safety, radiation safety, universal protocol, and specimen handling
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of contract signing
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
