• Greet customers and qualify their needs; recommend and close sales in the department.
• Learn about products using company tools and provide information to customers to support sales across the department and adjacent areas.
• Maintain in-stock condition and ensure the area is clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Follow all safety policies and standards, complete required safety training, and promptly correct hazards or report conditions to the Manager on Duty.
• Work cooperatively with the Department Supervisor, teammates, and other departments.
• Departments may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
