Position OverviewWe are seeking an Sales Development Representative to join the Outside Sales team. This is a field-based sales role focused on driving new restaurant partnerships in emerging and underserved markets. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of successful SMB sales experience, preferably within the restaurant or food & beverage industry. This role requires extensive travel (50%+) within two hours of the assigned city with occasional overnight stays and longer travel days.
All travel expenses are covered by the company.
- Drive market expansion in emerging and rural territories.
- Prospect, meet, and close new restaurant partnerships through face-to-face sales.
- Educate restaurant owners on the value of partnering with Door Dash.
- Negotiate revenue-share agreements.
- Manage a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle with quick turnaround times.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to execute territory growth strategies.
- Utilize company-provided sales tools and resources to achieve targets.
- Maintain compliance with company travel policies.
- 2.5+ years of closing sales experience (SMB sales preferred).
- Experience selling to restaurants or food/beverage businesses strongly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to execute both inside and outside sales strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build scalable sales strategies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- $29/hour base pay.
- Commission:
Uncapped;
On-Target Earnings (OTE) approximately $1,750 per month. - On-Target Earnings (OTE) of approximately $1,750 per month, with opportunity to exceed.
