PositionSummary
In this role, you will support sponsorship sales, fulfillment, and group ticket sales. You will help build a strong sponsor pipeline through outreach and meetings, support proposals and presentations, and help move deals to contract. You will also coordinate sponsor deliverables and event day execution so partners receive full value from their agreements. On the group sales side, you will identify and engage community groups, support event programming, and coordinate attendance for initiatives such as School Day and select special events.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a day to day contact for assigned partners, providing attentive and proactive service to enhance their experience and address any needs promptly
- Identify new sponsor prospects through research, leads, referrals, and community connections
- Assist in the development of partnership proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to support sales efforts. Support negotiation and agreement execution
- Schedule and participate in sponsor meetings. Present sponsorship packages independently and support larger meetings with the Marketing and Partnership Manager
- Coordinate sponsorship fulfillment across events and platforms, including signage, digital assets, promotions, hospitality, and on-site activations
- Monitor partnership performance through comprehensive reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Actively collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, event services) to create and implement promotional initiatives and execute partnership campaigns
- Support event day needs for partners, ensuring their objectives are met during live events
- Build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with partners to foster loyalty and renewal opportunities
- Group sales and event programming support
- Identify and contact relevant groups for ticket sales opportunities, share event details, and manage the booking process
- Coordinate group attendance, including deadlines, ticket distribution, and event day logistics
- Partner with marketing to support event programming and activation planning, including School Day initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, collaborating with industry stakeholders to continually enhance partnership offerings
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or a related field, or equivalent additional work experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience in partnership management, sponsorship activation, account sales or related roles within the live sports and entertainment industry, or closely related field
- Strong understanding of sponsorship activation and partnership dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage with various stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other collaboration tools
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
- Creative thinker with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days as needed
