Security Officer Armed Site

As a part‑time security officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. In this armed post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control activities.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity in varied working conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or entry authorizations, and support the protection of sensitive property, equipment, and restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Serve in an armed post in alignment with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns while using sound judgment and professionalism.

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• At least 3 years of security-related experience, law enforcement experience, military police experience, and/or military experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
