Job Description Site Security SupervisorWe are seeking a dependable and professional Site Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at our facility. This position will supervise three Security Guards working daily 8-hour shifts, as well as weekend security personnel, and will be responsible for ensuring the facility remains safe and secure.
Responsibilities- Supervise, schedule, and provide direction to Security Guards.
- Ensure appropriate security coverage for daily and weekend operations.
- Monitor the employee entrance and ensure all individuals entering the facility are authorized to be on company property.
- Ensure employees follow required iris/eye-scan procedures when entering the facility.
- Conduct routine walks of the property to ensure gates, doors, and other access points are closed, locked, and secure.
- Monitor for suspicious or unauthorized activity and respond appropriately to security concerns.
- Work closely with Human Resources and Safety management regarding security-related matters.
- Escort employees from company property when requested by Human Resources or management.
- Respond to security incidents and document or report concerns as necessary.
- Ensure Security Guards follow company policies and established security procedures.
- Previous security experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to remain professional and calm in difficult situations.
- Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly patrol the facility and property.
- Must be available to respond to security staffing or facility needs as required.
