The Loss Prevention Specialist works as a member of a team responsible for the protection of company assets by preventing inventory shrinkage due to accidents. Identifies, prevents, corrects, and eliminates loss caused by internal, external, and paperwork errors.

• Partner with Store Management Team to maintain control of shrinkage in all forms.
• Conduct internal and external investigations, write and maintain reports, testify in court cases, interview subjects, suspects, witnesses, and victims via physical/CCTV means.
• Conduct safety reviews and inspections.
• Conduct routine employee spot checks on purchases, holds, personal belongings and trash.
• Conduct routine physical security checks.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute emergency/disaster plans.
• Maintain accountability through clear performance expectations.
• Additional responsibilities as business requires.
• Work in partnership with store management on loss prevention matters.

• Minimum age 21 years.

• Basic knowledge of shoplifting laws and/or law enforcement experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit for long periods, stand, and physically apprehend shoplifters.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
