You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.

+ Maintain accurate daily activity reports and promptly communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
