** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and vehicle entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.

+ Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and firearms, complete required reports, and follow applicable laws, company policies, and client procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + An armed guard card or license is required.

+ At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
