As a Security Guard Unarmed - Hospital Access in Greenville, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner according to site protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge verification, and reporting of unauthorized access concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for security-related events.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
