As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. * Job Schedule:

* This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and maintain awareness of visitor activity, supporting a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
