As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. * This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
