** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements; control entry of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, incidents, access-control issues, and other security-related observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.

+ Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
