As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.70 / Hour

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, assisting with directions and supporting a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized healthcare personnel.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
