Electrical Apprentice Paid Training

Interested in getting into the electrical trade? If you are ready to start a long‑term, stable career and want to learn a trade while working full‑time through our Apprenticeship Program, we want to talk to you!

The Amteck Quick Start program offers 4 weeks of paid training, concluding with immediate hire as a full‑time employee at $18/hour. Upon completion you will transition into roles as electricians, low voltage/fire alarm technicians, or other positions within Amteck. Participants will receive tools to begin their career.

After starting full‑time employment, participants can enroll in our apprenticeship program. Pay raises are awarded after each semester (every 6 months), and participants have the chance to learn the National Electric Code and prepare for a state journeyman license exam. Many graduates advance to estimator, procurement associate, foreman, and superintendent roles.

• Complete the 4‑week paid training and apprenticeship curriculum.
• Work under supervision to apply the fundamentals of basic electricity and construction applications in real projects.
• Adhere to safety procedures and learn job‑site safety protocols.
• Progress through the apprenticeship program, meeting learning objectives and passing required assessments.
• Prepare for and obtain the National Electric Code‑backed journeyman license.
