Art Director for User Experience (UI​/UX

This full-time position places an Art Director for User Experience at Your Creative People in Greenville, SC, onsite. The role guides the ideation and visual design for premium websites, mobile applications, and software platforms to create engaging, intuitive user experiences.

• Participate in interactive client brainstorming and discovery sessions to contribute ideas for the next generation of websites or software platforms.
• Collaborate with the in-house software development team to wireframe and design distinctive interfaces for web-based platforms and mobile apps.
• Develop landing pages and bespoke website layouts for high-end sites.
• Establish expertise in UI/UX by delivering interfaces that are engaging, clean, and visually compelling.
• Provide design solutions informed by user metrics to reposition and redeploy multi-faceted websites for optimal usability.
• Create software interfaces that users love, saving time and delivering a delightful online experience.
• Own the user experience facet of the Branding and Design team, sharing best practices, guidance, and coaching with colleagues.
• Broaden the team's approach by introducing new navigation methods, improved content presentation, and innovative features for projects.

• 5+ years creating custom user-focused interfaces for apps, larger websites, and digital platforms.
• Solid grounding in how users typically respond to websites and software interfaces, plus design thinking principles.
• Experience designing visual interfaces for multi-page websites that drive user engagement and navigation.
• Ability to present multiple, relevant portfolio samples of sites designed from the ground up, not templates.
• Proficiency in designing mobile and web-based software platform interfaces.
• Capability to show a portfolio sample of a custom-designed software interface you have created.
• Understanding of insights from website tracking metrics and heat maps to inform design decisions.

• Ability to show multiple, relevant portfolio samples of sites designed from the ground up with no templates.
• Designing mobile and web-based software platform interfaces.
• Portfolio sample of a custom-designed software interface you have created.
• Insights from website tracking metrics and heat maps to inform design decisions.
• Optional, but not required: understanding of search engine tactics as they apply to users, and experience in HTML/CSS front-end development.
