The C-130 Flight line APG Mechanic will be part of an Aircraft Maintenance Team supporting flight line and maintenance operations.
The Mechanic will perform and assist with aircraft launch and recovery, preflight, thru flight, and basic post flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. This role supports aircraft system functionality, safety, and overall airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with launch and recovery operations
- Conduct preflight, thru flight, and basic post flight inspections
- Perform ground handling, servicing, and operational checkouts
- Support engine runs and general flight line maintenance
- Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical and pneumatic systems and components
- Ensure acceptableness of electrical, hydraulic pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, and flight control systems
- Support periodic inspections and maintain general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape systems
- Remove panels and associated hardware to access equipment requiring repair
The Production Flight line APG, C-130 Technician must be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance including:
- Fueling and defueling
- Aircraft movement, launch, and recovery
- Minimum of 5 years of recent aircraft flight line experience on C-130 aircraft (E, H, J models or equivalent)
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components
- Must be able to start March 9, 2026
- Must be able to work 1st shift schedule
