Job Overview
1st Shift Part Time Order Checker
Primary responsibility ensures accuracy of Customer Orders leaving the Warehouse. Checks built pallets, verifies pick tickets, documents discrepancies, and corrects orders before loading for delivery. Also reviews and inspects Route Delivery Trucks upon return, documenting discrepancies and making necessary changes before finalizing the Route Truck Check-In Process.
Job DetailsLocations: Greenville
Pay Range: $17.95 - $18.00 per hour.
Schedule: Mon‑Sat, rotating day off (8:30 a.m. to completion).
Duties & Responsibilities- Verifies accuracy of Customer Orders by inspecting built pallets and reviewing pick tickets to ensure correct product type and quantity.
- Inspects returning Route Delivery Trucks for proper condition and performs blind counts to compare against reported quantities.
- Documents any discrepancies, changes, additions, or subtractions on appropriate reports and informs relevant personnel.
- Accounts for all returned product and deposit items, classifying information correctly.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse, and performs other tasks such as pallet building as requested.
- Attention to detail, basic math skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced environment while walking and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Team collaboration and efficient warehouse process coordination.
- Adaptability to various work areas during the day.
- Reading and interpreting computer screen instructions.
- Ability to work in noisy, non‑climate‑controlled environment.
- Initiative and proactive value‑add mindset.
- Flexibility for schedule changes.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Up to 12 months of related work experience.
PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification;
Pallet Jack.
Warehouse environment.
