Demand Planner – Greenville, SC (On‑Site)

Full‑Time | $60,000–$70,000 per year

We are seeking a Demand Planner to support purchasing and inventory control operations within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures materials, workflows, and resources are aligned to drive efficient production, cost management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecast Demand: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and additional factors to generate accurate demand forecasts.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and avoiding stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other internal partners to align forecasting with business strategies and promotional activities.
  • Data Analysis: Evaluate trends and adjust forecasts based on new data or changing market conditions.
  • Reporting: Present forecasts and inventory metrics to leadership, highlighting potential risks and key insights.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred;
    Business Administration, Statistics, or related fields a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2–3 years of relevant analytical experience strongly preferred
    • Proven background in demand planning and inventory management within a fast‑paced or data‑driven environment
    • Hands‑on experience with demand‑planning software and ERP systems required
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and presenting findings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, S&OP, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of domestic and international logistics
