Position Information:
TxDOT is looking for a Utility Coordinator I, II, III or IV for the Paris District. This position is in the Greenville Area Office located in Greenville, TX. Paris District has three core values:

The Utility Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting transportation projects by serving as a technical expert and central point of coordination between the Department, utility companies, property owners, and other agencies. They will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, this position oversees utility adjustments, relocations, permits, reimbursements, and compliance with state and federal requirements while reviewing plans, agreements, cost estimates, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
This person will monitor utility installations and relocations, develop and maintain utility schedules, research and resolve complex issues, recommend process improvements, and provide guidance and training to staff.

Coordinates and performs technical work related to new utility installations and state and/or federally funded utility adjustments and relocations. Work requires contact with private entities and governmental agencies. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
Utility Coordinator I, II, III, and IV:- Implements and interprets Department policies and procedures as they relate to utility adjustments, relocations, negotiations, reimbursements and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
- Measures, coordinates and calculates payments such as betterment ratios, eligibility percentages, supplements, market value comparisons and relocation costs.
- Meets with utility representatives and other entities to explain the utility accommodation policy and relocation and reimbursement processes, negotiate, answer questions to resolve problems.
- Performs reviews and determines eligibility requirements for payment of relocation reimbursements.
- Prepares utility adjustment assembly folder to include all pertinent data and handout materials; prepares report for approval.
- Prepares, processes and maintains documents, references and/or resource materials.
- Reviews agreements, plans, specifications and billings submitted by the utility companies.
- Ensures electronic documentation and data in TxDOT systems are accurate and up-to-date.
