High Needs Special Education Teacher (Pool Position)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate High Needs Special Education Teacher for a pool position within the Greenville Independent School District. This role requires a dynamic individual who is certified and skilled in special education, with a focus on high needs students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with high needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning.
• Employ specialized teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Assess students' abilities and craft teaching plans that align with their individual skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to engage all students.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive student records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.

Certifications:

• Candidates must hold a valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education.
• Additional certifications that support the education of high needs students will be highly regarded.
