Senior Project Manager

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Managerto lead engineering projects from initial concept through to successful delivery. Reporting to the Operations Leader, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing projects while building strong relationships with both internal teams and clients.

This role requires a commercially aware, client-focused professional who can manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies, while acting as a key representative of the engineering team.

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to completion
• Define and document project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Monitor project performance, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Identify and manage changes to scope of work (SOW)
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing needs and resolving issues
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term trust
• Ensure compliance with client processes, procedures, and project requirements
• Review and manage project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy
• Coordinate and secure necessary resources (drawings, reports, site activities, etc.)
• Oversee financial aspects, including PO management, budget control, and invoicing
• Anticipate and identify future opportunities arising from ongoing projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related discipline)
• Proven experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion
• Strong understanding of front-end and detailed engineering processes
• Experience working in consulting engineering, power, or heavy industrial sectors
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within budget and on schedule
• Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to grow and develop existing accounts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate teams, manage priorities, and drive project execution
• Focus on improving operational efficiency and project performance
