What You Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of estimating experience in:
- Pipe fabrication
- Mechanical contracting
- Strong experience performing model-based quantity take-offs using Navisworks
- Ability to interpret:
- Orthographic drawings
- Isometric drawings
- Strong understanding of:
- Modular construction methods
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Digital take-off tools
- Familiarity with:
- Piping specifications
- Welding requirements
- QA/QC impacts on cost
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and estimate from incomplete design documents
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience estimating modular or prefabricated systems
- Experience supporting projects in:
- Pharmaceutical
- Chemical
- Advanced manufacturing sectors
- Experience working in client-facing and cross-functional preconstruction environments

- Perform take-offs from:
- Isometric drawings
- Orthographic drawings
- Evaluate:
- Modularization opportunities
- Analyze labor and material costs
- Solicit vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Identify project risks and cost impacts
- Collaborate with:
- Engineering teams
- Operations teams
- Business development stakeholders
- Scope reviews
- Post-award procurement activities
