YourRole:
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead projects from award through closeout, owning budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring successful project execution while managing financial performance and maintaining strong communication across internal teams and external partners. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while having direct visibility with leadership and impact on overall business performance.
What You’ll Do:- Manage all aspects of HVAC/mechanical projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Own project financials, including job costing, WIP reporting, and cost-to-complete forecasting.
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive the project execution.
- Lead project meetings, manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Oversee procurement, vendor coordination, and subcontractor performance.
- Partner with field teams on installation planning, manpower, and sequencing.
- Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and safety standards.
- 5+ years of project management experience within commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical construction.
- Experience managing projects valued at $1M - $10M +.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, chillers, air handling units, and controls.
- Proven ability to manage project financials including forecasting and cost tracking.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with design-build or design-assist project delivery preferred.
- Background in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Exposure to healthcare or data center projects preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or BIM/Revit.
