Perform aeroelastic and dynamic load analysis including frequency response and modal analysis for modifications to primary and secondary aircraft structures including systems and components.
Determine dynamic mass and stiffness characteristics of aircraft structures.
Participate in flight test programs to collect and analyze dynamic data.
Develop vibration spectra, evaluate flutter characteristics, and determine acoustic profiles.
Minimum of twelve years of commercial or military aircraft dynamic analysis experience.
Experience creating finite element models using MSC Patran or Siemens Femap.
Experience determining natural frequencies and mode shapes using MSC Nastran.
Experience performing frequency and transient response analysis using MSC Nastran.
Experience developing static equivalent loading and dynamic stiffness requirements for impact, aircraft ditching, shock, and vibration conditions.
Experience simulating bird strike using LS-DYNA.
Experience analyzing and supporting testing for dynamic environmental conditions.
Experience preparing analysis reports, test plans, and test reports for airworthiness.
Perform modal analysis of aircraft structures.
Develop static equivalent loads and dynamic stiffness requirements.
Conduct dynamic structural analysis using MSC Nastran and LS-DYNA.
Support testing and verification for structural dynamic environments.
Prepare detailed engineering analysis reports and documentation.
Experience with NX CAD and Teamcenter.
Knowledge of predictive acoustic analysis and flutter analysis.
Experience with instrumentation and testing for verification of structural dynamic parameters.
Familiarity with airworthiness requirements and regulatory standards.
