Job Description:
Provide system and sub-system level support in Electromagnetic Compatibility/Electromagnetic Interference (EMC/EMI). Duties will include data analysis, design support, development of test documentation and test support. Candidate will evaluate test results, and analyze data in the areas of EMI, electrostatic discharge (ESD), grounding, isolation, bonding, wiring, design review, and lightning analysis and test.
Role includes developing procedures for and performing aircraft-level and equipment-level test and verification activities, assisting with development of related modifications and developing related test processes, test documentation and selection of test equipment. Duties include design development and debug support to related efforts including developing EMC design review and design assistance content. Candidate will generate EMC related content for related engineering presentations to internal groups and to customers.
Candidate will also assist in EMC related bid and estimating activities for related efforts.
Essential Functions:

- Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and customers, in person as well as remote.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, to make rational decisions, and exercising good judgment is essential.
- Requires ability to move test equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a desk to write reports and perform engineering tasks.
