An established organization in the sustainable materials and advanced manufacturing sector is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Controller for a full-time, on-site position based in Piedmont, SC. The company specializes in innovative recycled material solutions and is committed to advancing environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.

Role Summary

The Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal/external audits. This role includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, preparing accurate financial statements, conducting risk assessments, and analyzing financial data to support leadership decision-making. The Controller will partner closely with cross-functional teams to maintain strong financial health and contribute to long‑term strategic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end close.
  • Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting packages.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee internal and external audits.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend financial improvements.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership.
  • Implement and optimize financial systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in financial management, accounting, and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in risk assessment.
  • Hands‑on experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and a collaborative working style.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Experience in manufacturing, recycled materials, or sustainability-focused industries is a plus.
