Role Summary
The Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal/external audits. This role includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, preparing accurate financial statements, conducting risk assessments, and analyzing financial data to support leadership decision-making. The Controller will partner closely with cross-functional teams to maintain strong financial health and contribute to long‑term strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end close.
- Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting packages.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend financial improvements.
- Analyze financial and operational data to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in financial management, accounting, and budgeting.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in risk assessment.
- Hands‑on experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent leadership abilities and a collaborative working style.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing, recycled materials, or sustainability-focused industries is a plus.
