Senior Manager Network Services

My client is seeking a Senior Manager of Network Services to lead and evolve enterprise IT infrastructure across network services, cloud platforms, and data center operations. This role blends hands‑on technical leadership with strategic oversight, supporting a complex, scalable, and secure environment across the organization.

This position is ideal for an experienced infrastructure leader who can balance forward‑looking innovation with the stability and reliability of existing systems, while mentoring technical teams and partnering closely with the business.

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments
• Oversee network security technologies such as Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 LTM load balancers
• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability
• Develop, implement, and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards
• Drive strategy, deployment, and management of cloud services across AWS and Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Partner with internal teams to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant cloud operations
• Implement cloud security controls, performance tuning, and cost optimization initiatives
• Lead and mentor network engineers, system administrators, and cloud specialists
• Foster a high-performance, accountable team culture with clear goals and expectations
• Identify skill gaps, plan for succession, and align resources with evolving business needs
• Promote collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement

• Plan and execute infrastructure initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to implement new technologies and solutions
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects

• Ensure infrastructure environments meet security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain strong security controls
• Oversee firewall rules, access controls, and security configurations across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 5+ years in a hands‑on leadership role
• 3+ years of experience managing cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong expertise with:
  Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls), Forescout NAC, F5 LTM, Palo Alto Firewalls, Performance monitoring tools such as Solar Winds, Thousand Eyes, or App Dynamics
• Experience with data center operations, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning
• Strong project management experience leading complex infrastructure initiatives
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, ticketing/documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence), and compliance standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
