Multi-Billion Dollar International manufacturing company located in the Greenville SC area is looking for a Purchasing Manager
JOB DUTIES- Lead procurement operations while supporting strategic sourcing initiatives across the business
- Ensure the uninterrupted supply of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing, while balancing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Responsible for the operational execution, supplier management, and team leadership, while supporting continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and alignment with broader supply chain strategies.
- Provide leadership and direction of purchasing and sourcing activities to ensure timely and efficient supply of materials and services for the facility
- Oversee daily procurement execution including purchase orders, supplier communications, expediting, and issue resolution
- Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and KPIs; lead corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management
- 3+ years Purchasing Management or Supervision experience
- ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- BOM (Bill of Materials) and MRD (Materials Required Date) a plus
- Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
