Make Every Shipment Count
Step into the role that keeps products moving. As our Outbound Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be the link between production and the customer, turning finished goods into accurately packed, clearly labeled, on-time shipments.
Your Day, Simplified- Start strong (7:00am–3:30pm): review the shipping queue, prioritize orders, and prepare your workstation with the right cartons, containers, and protective materials for the day’s mix of items.
- Build it right: choose packaging that fits the product and route, then cushion, wrap, and seal so everything arrives intact.
- Verify twice: confirm quantities, check product quality, and make sure each order matches documentation before it leaves your hands.
- Label with precision: generate and apply shipping labels; ensure each parcel is properly identified and compliant with carrier requirements.
- Go digital: use carrier software and shipping systems (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) to create manifests and track packages through their journey.
- Keep freight flowing: coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule timely pickups and deliveries.
- Stage smart: organize and sequence packages for safe, efficient loading and unloading according to shipping priorities.
- Document everything: maintain accurate records—tracking numbers, contents, and shipping paperwork—for inventory control and fast customer support.
- Team up: work closely with the warehouse on order fulfillment so packaged goods are ready when needed.
- Communicate clearly: update internal partners, answer questions, and tackle any shipping issues that pop up.
- Lean and safe: practice 6S to keep your area organized and compliant.
- Quality-first focus with sharp attention to detail.
- Safety mindset and consistency in following protocols.
- Excellent dexterity and hand–eye coordination, comfortable handling small parts.
- Reliability and organization—you show up, plan ahead, and follow through.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hands-on experience as a Shipping/Packaging Clerk or similar role, with strong knowledge of packaging methods, shipping procedures, and documentation.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of safety guidelines and the discipline to follow them.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavier items, and repeat tasks safely.
- Shipping and receiving workflows.
- Packaging techniques and materials.
- High School / GED.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills for carrier tools and tracking.
