Site Launch and Operations Manager

We're partnering with a growing manufacturer to find an experienced operations leader to oversee the launch and relocation of a new manufacturing facility. This is a unique opportunity to lead a greenfield startup from planning through production launch, with the expectation of transitioning into the Plant Manager role once the site is fully operational.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, or plant management.
• Experience leading facility startups, plant relocations, equipment installations, or other large manufacturing projects.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Background in metal machining, metal fabrication, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP, or PMP experience is a plus.

• Lead the planning, relocation, startup, and stabilization of a new manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, HR, IT, contractors, and vendors.
• Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, production readiness, staffing, and facility startup activities.
• Drive project execution while managing timelines, budgets, and operational milestones.
• Establish the site's operational culture, leadership structure, and continuous improvement initiatives before transitioning into long‑term Plant Manager responsibilities.
