Shift: 1st 5am-5pm
2nd 5pm-5am

Job Description
As a Mold Technician, you will safely and effectively perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule. You will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on molds, including lubricating, making minor repairs, and identifying worn or damaged parts. Troubleshooting and making repairs to machine components, setting up molding machines and ancillary equipment related to the molding process are key parts of this role.
You will work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment as required. Additionally, you will be actively involved in Continuous Improvement initiatives and may perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Safely perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule.
- Perform preventive maintenance on molds, including lubricating and minor repairs.
- Identify worn or damaged parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine components.
- Set up molding machines and ancillary equipment related to the molding process.
- Ensure all safety and personal protective equipment is used correctly.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement, 5S, and STW activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- 2-5 years of plastic molding experience.
- Machine operating, mold, and plastic knowledge.
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Mechanical and machine setup experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, spacious manufacturing environment. Be prepared for the hot plastic smell and a loud setting. The work schedule follows a 2x2x3 pattern with shifts from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
