We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neonatology for a permanent position in Northeast Texas, near Greenville. Join a reputable healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional neonatal care in a supportive, team-based environment.
This role offers the chance to work with neonates in a high-acuity setting, making a profound impact on patients and their families. Position Highlights:
Shift Structure:
Flexible 12- and 24-hour shifts, with patient loads typically ranging from:
Day
Shifts:
Manage approximately 8-10 patients Night
Shifts:
Cover the unit alongside a supportive team, managing around 20-30 patients
Duties Include:
Performing neonatal procedures and attending high-risk deliveries Collaborating with a skilled team, including 3-4 NNPs, a resident, a fellow, and an attending neonatologist Weekend Rotation:
Approximately 72 hours over a 6-week period, including Friday nights through Monday morning Requirements:
Education & Certification:
Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner preferred; candidates with qualifications in Family, Adult, Pediatric, Psychiatric Mental Health, or Women???s Health also considered. Licensure:
Active Texas NP license required
Certifications:
BLS, NRP (or willing to obtain)
Experience:
Open to recent NNP graduates with at least 4 years of NICU experience Clear Background:
Clean malpractice and licensing history Residency Requirement:
Candidates should reside within 1.5 hours of the facility for on-call readiness Compensation and Benefits:
