Registered Nurse

Position: P/T Registered Nurse
RN Case Manager with hospital or hospice experience preferredA DON type position with Case Manager duties and role
**************************************************************************************** This position requires confidence, independent action, initiative, a sense of urgency, and the ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them. A well-suited candidate can react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas for dealing with them. The responsibilities are broad in scope, encompassing a wide variety of activities requiring rapid shifts in priorities.

Seeking Registered Nurses & Licensed Vocational Nurses. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Focus on the medical needs and treatment of patients in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel

Patient assessments

Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies

Coordination of care Health promotion and teaching

Training of family members

Qualifications:

Licensed as an RN or LVN in the state of Texas Minimum 1 year experience, preferred 2 year experience

Clean background and criminal record

Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with Director of Nurses Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations, The Joint Commission preferred

Physical ability to walk, lift, bend, kneel, see, hear, and speak clearly
