This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position. This position will support the facilities parts/ materials warehouse while managing inventory levels and spare parts. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a warehouse environment. Candidates must possess attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. This position is for a candidate who will support personnel across multiple shifts as well as multi‑level management.
Candidates will work independently and as a group/team sourcing parts, ordering materials, and helping to maintain min/max levels.
- Work with Logistics team, including Warehousing, Receiving & Shipping.
- Work within a production environment, including material handling.
- Unpack material received and assure that it properly stored, and all relevant transactions are done on the MRP system to show the location of the material.
- Interface with other departments as required ensuring control and coordinate for efficient material flow.
- Monitor of receipts, issues and stock movements within the warehouse, external suppliers and other L3
Harris segments. - Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, and lift 32 pounds.
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics Management, Business Administration or related field or have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
