Handyman with PASMA Required – Plumstead (1 Day Work)

8:00am – 6:00pm (9.5 hours paid)

Munnelly Support Services are recruiting an experienced Handyman with PASMA for a one-day assignment in Plumstead, carrying out preventative vermin and bird-proofing works on a live construction site.

This role involves external roof works, including ply boarding and sealing gaps to prevent bird nesting. All materials are provided on site, and all works will be completed under task-specific RAMS.

Job Description

The Handyman will be responsible for installing plywood boarding to existing roof structures to prevent vermin access. The role includes working at height using a mobile access tower and complying with all site health and safety requirements.

Roof access is via stairs and lift, with a compliant parapet in place.

Duties

* Ply over a broken door on the college roof

* Ply around old bridge waterproofing areas

* Ply over gaps in tank housing on the main roof

* Carry out external handyman and maintenance works

* Use a mobile access tower where required

* Follow RAMS and site health and safety procedures

Requirements

* Valid PASMA ticket (essential)

* Valid CSCS Card

* Blue CSCS preferred

* Green CSCS acceptable with relevant experience and references

* Own tools

* PPE

* Proven handyman / maintenance / external works experience

* Confident working at height using a tower scaffold

Site Information

* One-day job only

* Ply and fixings provided on site

* Mobile access tower provided

* Site Manager present on site
