About the RoleClarity Home Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced accounting professional to serve as our Part-Time Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for ensuring the financial health, accuracy, and integrity of our business operations across all phases of the client journey.
This individual will oversee all core accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
In addition to transactional responsibilities, this role requires the ability to:
- Review and interpret financial statements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze project and operational spend
- Make strategic financial recommendations
- Proficiency in Studio Designer (Accounting Module) is required.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Generate and maintain client invoices and account summaries
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statements
- Monitor cash flow and project-based financial performance
- Maintain sales tax compliance and filings
- Analyze financial statements for cost control opportunities
- Recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency
- Maintain financial documentation and SOPs
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
Qualifications- 5-7 years of demonstrated accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Must be proficient in Studio Designer – Accounting Module experience
- Ability to evaluate financial statements and identify opportunities to optimize spending, improve cost controls, and enhance overall financial performance.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Experience in interior design, construction, or project-based industry preferred
