Position Overview

Eosol Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Analyst - Sourcing Manager / Purchasing to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise in purchasing and sourcing to drive our procurement strategy while maintaining a strong commercial focus. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) purchasing, as it aligns closely with our operational goals.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Analyst in the Sourcing Manager / Purchasing role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sourcing strategies that align with both short-term and long-term business objectives. Utilize analytical tools to assess market trends, supplier performance, and industry benchmarks to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with suppliers to foster a partnership approach focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations for various procurement contracts, ensuring all agreements meet compliance standards and provide maximum return on investment. Conduct regular reviews of contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings and enhance value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments including engineering, project management, and finance to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and objectives. Act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to streamline communication and enhance collaboration.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive practices. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic initiatives that leverage market opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing and procurement activities. Prepare comprehensive reports for management, providing insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them throughout the procurement process. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor junior analysts and team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the procurement team. Encourage knowledge sharing and the development of best practices.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Lead Analyst - Sourcing Manager / Purchasing position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, with a strong preference for candidates possessing EPC purchasing experience. Proven track record of successfully managing sourcing strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights. Proficiency in using procurement software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel.
