The Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager, Pricing to drive execution, visibility, and accountability across the pricing organization, with a particular focus on implementing new pricing systems, standardizing pricing processes, and leading cross‑functional transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with Pricing, Sales, Operations, IT, and business leaders to translate pricing strategy into actionable project plans that improve pricing consistency, speed, adoption, margin performance, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, an understanding of pricing processes and commercial operations, and the ability to lead complex system and process implementations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Serve as a central project management lead for enterprise pricing initiatives, including new pricing system implementations, process redesign, and pricing capability enhancements.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and dashboards for pricing transformation initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability across stakeholders.
- Partner with Pricing leadership to translate pricing strategy and business requirements into clear implementation plans, work streams, and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate across Pricing, Sales, Operations, IT, Digital, Data, and other business functions to support successful system configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption.
- Track project actions, status updates, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively identify gaps and elevate decisions required to keep initiatives on schedule.
- Support the design, documentation, and implementation of standardized pricing processes, governance routines, approval workflows, and decision rights.
- Lead change management activities for new pricing systems and processes, including stakeholder communication, training coordination, readiness assessments, and adoption tracking.
- Develop reporting mechanisms and dashboards to monitor implementation progress, user adoption, process compliance, pricing effectiveness, and other key performance indicators.
- Partner with Pricing, IT, and Data teams to improve pricing data quality, system integration, workflow automation, and reporting consistency.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and post‑launch stabilization activities for pricing technology implementations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, project documentation, training materials, and governance standards to support repeatability and scalability.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and executive updates; clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions, and required actions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to simplify pricing workflows, reduce manual activity, improve quote turnaround time, and strengthen pricing discipline.
- Partner with Pricing leaders and commercial stakeholders to ensure new tools and processes support business needs and are effectively adopted across the organization.
- Provide guidance to analysts, project coordinators, or workstream leads supporting pricing transformation initiatives.
