Summary:The Project Manager will assist in overseeing construction projects for a commercial and residential developer within the in-house construction group. They will be vital team members and work closely with the VP, construction manager, super, and project administrator. The Project Manager will also collaborate with ownership, design teams, field staff, and vendors to deliver high-quality projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day project execution, coordinating subcontractors and consultants, tracking schedules and budgets, reviewing change orders and payment applications, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, and in accordance with project documents and company standards.
ProjectAdministration & Coordination
- Assist Construction Team in managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
- Maintain project schedules and help track key milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
- Support procurement efforts and subcontractor buyout processes.
- Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost reports, and monthly financial forecasts.
- Monitor project progress and support field operations to ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Superintendents and subcontractors to resolve construction issues and prevent schedule delays.
- Author trade-specific scopes of work and lead scope reviews.
- Oversee value engineering exercises with the Construction Team.
- Track punch list items and assist with project closeout activities.

- Minimum of 2-5 years of commercial and/or residential construction project management experience preferred.
- Experience with ground-up construction and renovation projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
- Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Ability to walk active construction sites, including uneven terrain, stairs, and ladders when necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to work both in an office setting and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
