This is a remote role for the Editor of Greenwich Magazine. The Editor will oversee editorial content, including planning, writing, assigning, and editing articles to align with the magazine’s vision and target audience in both digital and print spaces. Responsibilities include managing contributor relationships, ensuring high-quality editorial standards, collaborating with the design team for layout and visuals, and managing publication schedules.
The Editor will lead the magazine’s digital presence, contribute to creative strategies for online and print, and provide guidance to maintain the publication’s reputation for excellence.
- Strong skills in writing and editing, with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy;
- Knowledge of marketing, digital platforms, and audience engagement strategies;
- Experience in content strategy, content creation across platforms, and managing editorial calendars;
- Expertise in creative storytelling and structuring compelling narratives;
- Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with internal teams, and leadership experience;
- Proficiency in editorial tools and software; familiarity with design and digital content management systems is advantageous
- Experience in lifestyle or regional publications preferred;
- Resident of Greenwich CT is a must;
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred
