Vander Horn Architects – Project Manager

Vander Horn Architects, a Greenwich, CT architecture firm specializing in the finest quality residential design, seeks an experienced Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and execution of large single‑family residential projects from conceptual design through construction administration.

• Works with the Principal to design projects.
• Develops, checks and coordinates all technical aspects of each project.
• Leads in construction drawing efforts.
• Assists in project code review.
• Coordinates the work of project consultants.
• Oversees the work of assisting staff.
• Follows established standards for project production.
• Participates in construction phase site meetings.

• Three years’ minimum experience managing similar projects with limited oversight.
• Good time management and estimation skills, able to multi‑task and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• M.Arch or
  
  B.Arch required.
• Architect’s license for Connecticut or adjacent state(s).
• Understanding of traditional residential design and wood frame design.
• Strong graphics, presentation and communication skills; professional, respectful demeanor essential.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Rhino, Sketch Up, Revit, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Must currently live within 30 miles of Greenwich, CT. This is an in‑office position with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
