About The OpportunityA respected landscape architecture and design studio is seeking a talented Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to support the design and execution of high-end residential projects. This role provides the opportunity to contribute throughout the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design and design development through construction documentation and construction administration. The ideal candidate is a creative and technically skilled design professional with strong drafting capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working on luxury residential landscapes.
This individual will thrive in a collaborative studio environment and enjoy balancing design creativity with technical execution.
- Manage day-to-day project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and project progress
- Coordinate with internal design teams and external consultants throughout all project phases
- Collaborate with Principals and Senior Designers to develop innovative landscape design solutions
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and design development plans
- Develop creative solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and environmental stewardship
- Produce comprehensive construction documents and detailed plan sets
- Develop grading plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and custom construction details
- Maintain high drafting and documentation standards across all project phases
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, fabricators, contractors, and municipal agencies
- Participate in project meetings and assist with technical problem-solving
- Conduct site visits and field observations
- Review shop drawings and material submittals
- Assist with RFIs and construction-phase coordination
- Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio environment
- Assist in the creation of presentation graphics and project materials
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA)
- 4+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture or landscape design
- Experience working on high-end residential projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design ability and construction documentation expertise
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with Rhino
- Experience with Lumion or other 3D visualization software
- Experience with Sketch Up
- Knowledge of horticulture and planting design
- Landscape Architecture licensure or active pursuit of licensure

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwich, CT.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
